Foolproof Beauty Products For Summer

Hey you!

Summer is such a hard season for make up as you’re either sweating it off or it bloody rains constantly.

Keep reading for a lovely photo of me…from a few days ago. It was a horrific experience.

Light to Medium Coverage Foundation & Mascara

I always suggest a good moisturiser before applying your foundation as it gives a smoother appearance. My fave foundation is Maybelline’s Dream Satin Liquid foundation as it actually lets your skin breathe throughout the day. I don’t think you could actually cake this foundation on!

My old faithful Sephora Volumising Mascara is a winner for this season. It doesn’t run and coats the lashes perfectly! I can’t find a link for this product just yet, but I’ll update when I do!

The Perfect Peachy Blush & Lips

My favourite colour for Summer for ANYTHING is coral or peach. It’s just a beautiful colour and I’ve found a blush and lip combo which compliment this season perfectly and they look good on anyone…RESULT!

For blush, I use The Body Shop’s Honey Bronze Highlighting and Blush Dome – it’s a slightly dark peach colour and one dot on each cheek is enough to last you through the day! On the lips is my trusty Nivea Peach Lip Balm. It’s a game changer. I love it so much.

Light Highlighter

Due to the blush combining with a highlighter, you only need a little highlight from Benefit’s High Beam. It adds a lighter colour to the cheekbones and is fairly subtle for this season too!

How It Should Look vs How It Shouldn’t

…turns out it wasn’t a wasp, it was a fly.

He proper screamed and I was so ready to undo my seatbelt and LEG IT.

See you on Monday!

Lots of love

I love peachy / nude kinda colours for this time of year because it just looks good with all summer colours! This is such a helpful post because I really struggle with makeup at this time of year so I shall be trying some of your recommendations.
    Have a lovely day xx
