I’m talking about my evening routine…
It’s not as glamorous as you think, ha!
COMFY CLOTHES ON, LET’S GET THIS MAKE UP REMOVED
Sometimes I can tolerate sitting around with my make up still on but it’s always on my mind that it’s one more thing to do before bed. I use micellar water to remove my make up as it’s gentle on my skin and clears it up so easily.
I decided at the start of this year I would pop a face mask on at least once a week to unclog those pores and to just take an evening to chill. I don’t usually get that as I’m out for date nights with Josh or I have uni work to be cracking on with. I usually have a face mask night on a Friday as I work Saturdays so I feel fresh and ready to conquer anything the garden centre gives at me…quite literally.
STORY TIME: When Josh and I first met, we worked together at the garden centre. One time, we were working together on the counter in the restaurant and as I was placing down the lattes I’d just made, Josh was showing the customer where the cutlery was but as he was doing so he swung his arm around and whacked me right in the face, haha! Luckily, I found it HILARIOUS and so did Josh…we could never (and still can’t) be trusted together when we start laughing! Aw, I miss those days.
SKINCARE, SKINCARE, SKINCARE!
Even after a face mask I still do my skincare, I’ll do anything to prevent a breakout! I use my trusty Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range as it makes my skin feel really soft and revived. I’ve also started using Glossier’s Balmdot in Rose as it smells LUSH and it works miracles for chapped lips like mine!
…I’m reviewing three Glossier Balmdots in a blog next month!
SHOWER AND PREP FOR THE NEXT DAY
As I have naturally curly hair…and it’s quite long at the moment, it takes forever to actually wash and dry so I like to have showers on an evening just to relax and feel less stressed about the following morning.
I usually pack my bag and have my lunch prepped for the next day too so I can just wake up, get dressed and go!
See you on Monday!
Lots of love
