I’m gonna be honest, being single on Valentines Day SUCKS.
Especially when the only person who sends you a card is your Grandma.
Trust me, I know. I’ve had 21 years of experience.
Here’s to the singletons this Valentines Day.
PLAN A DAY JUST FOR YOU
Yep, there’s couples all over your socials buuuut think about all the knocked down chocolate going on sale on the 15th!
This year, I still got a card from my grandparents and every year they sign it ‘love from ???’. I ring to thank them and they still pretend it wasn’t from them, ha!
This year I actually have a Valentine so I had to tell Josh that I don’t have any crazy admirers…I don’t think anyway…!
…I went slightly off topic there BUT plan a day doing all your favourite chill things like watching soppy rom-coms, eating your body weight in chocolate and pop a facemask on.
This is your day as well.
MEET UP WITH YOUR FRIENDS
For the past two years, Josh, Will and I would go bowling or go for a meal out and get each other cards just for the giggles…but obviously, this year will be Josh and I’s first Valentine’s as a couple…eek, soz Will!
We’ve booked a fancy restaurant and got each other some little things, we set a budget of £20 each so we didn’t go too overboard but we can still get cute presents. I’m quite excited actually, we’ve booked the restaurant where we both celebrated our 18th birthdays…but weirdly we didn’t really know each other back then!
It’s funny what time can do.
LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES
That is all. Much love to you all!
See you on Friday!
Lots of love
