It’s me…again. Today I’m going to show you how to get the most out of Benefit’s Vanity Flare palette, whether it’s work or a ‘can’t be bothered’ day, I got you!
LOOK #1: SUNDAY BRUNCHIN’
Blend the shade ‘Buff’ all over your eyelid from your lash line to your brow bone. It’s a beautiful soft matte peachy colour – perfect for Spring and Summer. Next, using ‘Shimmering Nude’, a shimmery pearl shade, pat onto the centre and inner corner of your eyelid to give your eyes, making them bigger and bolder!
To add more attention to the colours, use a light coloured blush, like The Body Shop’s Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome in the shade ‘Blush’ just on your cheekbones and a pale highlighter, like Benefit’s High Beam.
Perfect for a no make up make up look!
A simple hoodie or oversized jumper, paired with black jeans and biker boots. Sorted.
LOOK #2: NEUTRAL WORK
This look will be perfect for a retail worker like myself or for a uni student who just wants a bit of shimmer during the day. Sweep the shade ‘Shell Pink’, a soft matte dark rose colour, across your entire eyelid. To add more definition to your eyes, use an angled brush and line your upper lash line with the soft matte shade ‘Deep Mauve’.
Team this look with a volumizing mascara like Benefit’s They’re Real and WOW!
A simple black jumper. It’s a perfect smart casual partner to this look, especially with a bobble beanie!
LOOK #3: DATE NIGHT
We’re using our trusty shade ‘Buff’ all over the eyelid and then the choice is yours for lining your upper lash line. I used ‘Cappuccino’ and finished with a volumising mascara, but you could also use ‘Charcoal Brown’ or ‘Mink’! To add more drama to your eyes, sweep your darker colour on the lower lash line too!
A sparkly black tee or blazer!
LOOK #4: SMOKIN’ HOT NUDES
For a fail-proof smokey eye, sweep ‘Rosy Brown’ from your lash line to crease, adding ‘Peachy Gold’ in the centre of your eyelid to the inner corner, to give a brighter feel to the look. You could also use ‘Mink’ and ‘Shimmering Nude’ OR ‘Ripe Plum’ and ‘Satiny Heather’.
A khaki dress, a mustard coloured jumper or a stripy bodysuit. This is a perfect summery smokey eye…so any summer clothing would be a perfect match! Pair with a leather jacket and ankle boots and you’ll look DA BOMB.
This palette isn’t very pigmented, I had to pack on a lot of the lighter shades until I could see a difference!
See you on Monday!
Lots of love,
