On the eleventh day of Blogmas, I give you the best way to take care of the most important person…YOU!
At Christmas time, everyone’s diet flops and it can be easy to forget how to plan proper meals with Christmas do’s here, there and everywhere.
TOP TIP: Make sure you eat healthy snacks and meals throughout the day during the run up to Christmas.
Also, going to bed with a satisfied stomach helps with a good night’s sleep – you’ll need it after partying this season!
CREATE A ROUTINE AND STICK TO IT
Due to the season, it’s common to go to bed and lie in more.
TOP TIP: Try going to bed at a reasonable time and you’ll wake up at a sensible time too.
You’ll feel refreshed and ready to tackle the day!
However, don’t change your routine multiple times as it can mess up your body’s natural rhythm.
DON’T DRINK JUST BEFORE BED
Fun fact: just one or two alcoholic drinks can affect your sleeping pattern…but you already knew that, right?
TOP TIP: Stop drinking at least two or three hours before counting those sheep.
It’ll increase your sleep quality and you won’t wake up with that dreaded hangover head…!
TAKE A BREAK
What a major throwback with Josh and Will, but make sure you find time for your mates, boyfriends/girlfriends and family this Christmas.
It’ll do you a lifetime of good, I promise.
TOP TIP: Exercise during the daylight, it’ll help reduce stress and improve your mood.
You’ll also sleep sounder as well!
Here’s the gross part: alcohol obviously makes you go to the loo more often.
TOP TIP: To prevent becoming dehydrated, have a glass of water between alcoholic beverages.
This will help stop leg cramps and even SNORING during the night…result!
You’re now ready to go out and rock this party season, have fun!
