I hope today’s blog will help with all the stresses which come from university!
I’ve currently got lots going on at the moment and I’m only doing two modules this semester!
MAKE TIME FOR COFFEE / STUDY DATES
Maddie and I always love going to the Waterstones cafe in our city centre as it is the perfect place to study and chill.
Grab yourself a tea or coffee, set your laptop up and get studying. Pop your music on – listen to my study playlist over on Spotify.
I find if you study with friends, it makes everything much more relaxed and you can have a good old natter while you’re learning the ins and outs of media law in my case, ha! Watch out world, we’re coming for ya!
GET A DESK PAD / PLANNER AND PLAN YOUR WEEK
Honestly, you’ll thank me later.
I’ve talked about how important planners are for university organisation in an earlier blog, I couldn’t live without my planner. Make sure to get an academic planner so it runs for the full “school” year and you can write in when semester breaks are.
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE TIME OFF TO RELAX
Whether it’s bowling, just having a film night or chilling with family, make sure you don’t overwork yourself because you could really damage your mental health – sometimes you have to put yourself first, and that is COMPLETELY FINE.
I love to take time away from studying to catch up with grandparents and cousin, look at his little face! The definition of the heart eye emoji!
It’s a really good stress buster and if the topic of uni comes up – you don’t feel a massive pressure to knuckle down there and then to get some work done.
