Autumnal Make Up Looks

Now, my first blog post was about A/W style and how to wrap up warm for these cold months ahead. Today will be following on from that!

I have been trying some autumnal make up looks with a few different products which will fit your everyday lifestyle and won’t look too over the top!

MAC Cosmetics Warm Neutral Palette

Yep, it’s this palette again! Once featured in my comeback blog from turning 21. The great thing about this palette is it suits every skin tone and you mix up the colours to create a natural look.

I’m using the same colours but this time I’m showing you how it looks step by step!

For my base colour, I’m using the lightest and sparkliest shade in the palette which is ‘Hey’. I love this colour, it gives the perfect slate on your eyes to create any look with that little bit of extra shine. In my crease, I use one of the darker khaki shades ‘Divine Decadence’.

On my lower lash line, I use the same dark shade which gives a tad more definition to my bottom lashes. I also blend in ‘Hey’ to lighten as well. For extra sparkle, smudge a line of NYX’s Copper Metallic eyeliner along the top bottom lashline.

AND VOILA! A simple smokey eye which you can wear everyday…which I do, ha!

Now, I don’t know about you but I wasn’t too sure how to feel about the term eye gloss or how it looks but I thought I’d give it a go regardless so I bought the shade ‘needy‘! This shade is a perfect Autumnal copper and will go with anything – especially the jumper I featured in my A/W style guide!

The finish of the gloss is much lighter than it is in the tube but I love it! Plus, it came off straight away without any frantic rubbing or horrible stickiness!
