Maybelline Dream Satin & MAC Warm Neutral Palette Review

Hello! I am officially 21!

Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday on Insta and Twitter!

I was very spoilt by my family and friends!

In the last few days, I was very fortunate to be sent full sized samples of Maybelline’s Dream Satin collection from the Glamour Beauty Club aaaaand I received MAC’s Warm Natural palette for my birthday so this post will about these two brands!

ONWARD WITH THE BLOG POST!

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation & Mist

When Glamour sends samples out, they send an email with the different shade options. I have quite pale skin so I chose the second palest shade available which was ‘Light Porcelain’.

You can’t really see in the photo above (please ignore how tired I look – I have been partying for three days straight, oops!), but the shade I chose is actually an EXACT match to my skin tone! What are the odds?! It took a couple of pumps for the product to come out of the bottle as I had only just opened it but with one pump, it covers the whole face!

When applied it doesn’t feel like I am wearing any products and it makes my skin look flawless – I tried the mist and it works like a dream! It soaks straight into the skin and sets the foundation.

When my Benefit Hello Flawless foundation runs out, I will be buying this foundation instead as it is an exact dupe of Benefit and both Maybelline products are just over half the price of Benefit’s foundation.

MAC Warm Neutral Palette

I have wanted this palette for a while now and I was so pleased when I got it for my birthday!

I loved how the colours are really autumnal and it is getting to that season now – whoohoo!

I decided to do a natural simple smokey eye today for going bowling with my best friends – for my base, I used the first colour in the palette ‘Hey’ and teamed it with the shade ‘Dark Brew’ for my crease shade. Along my lower lash line, I smudged ‘Divine Decadence’ and blended in ‘Hey’ again to give it some extra sparkle, and, of course, used Benefit Roller Lash and They’re Real to finish!

Of course, I had to take a selfie with my balloons from my grandparents!

Thank you! It didn’t! It’s actually amazing – I’m 100% switching from Benefit to this one! X

    Advice Needed
What do you do when you really appreciate someones features, but you’re afraid they might be self- conscious about them?
