Hello and welcome!
It’s been a lovely sunny day today which I have thoroughly enjoyed!
I have some exciting news that I will talk about at the end of the blog, so keep reading and enjoy today’s shopping haul!
*I AM NOT SPONSORED BY ANY OF THE BRANDS FEATURED IN THIS BLOG, JUST A FAN!*
As you can see from the first image, I went wild in the aisles at Paperchase today…but I did have £5 off on my Treat Me card so it wasn’t that hard hitting on my bank balance!
I bought myself a new mid-year planner for my next year at university. (I’ve linked my exact one so if you want to copy me, feel free!) Honestly, I can’t believe my first year is over in two weeks time – crazy! Deadlines are looming and the stress is increasing but it’ll all be worth it in the end, plus the extended summer holidays are going to be so fun! I have a few holidays planned so holiday blogs will be featured soon!
I also bought the cutest pen ever! There was the pig one, but also so many others too! I’m so tempted to go back and buy all of them, but I have too many pens as it is…but is there a thing as TOO many pens?! (I’ve tried to find my pen online but I can’t seem to! I will edit this later if I do, sorry!)
Now, I study Journalism at university and one of the key things my lectures encourage myself and my coursemates to carry around a small pad and a pen to note down anything we think would make a good story. I bought this pad because it’s small enough to fit in my bag along with a pen, ready for me to jot down any ideas I have on the go!
H&M can sometimes be a hit and miss shop for me, but today I found some trousers (or slacks) which will be perfect for all year round, especially summer. I can team them with a simple black or white tee, my white trainers or sandals and my denim jacket! Prepare to see them a lot on my Instagram feed!
The ones I have linked above are similar but as you can see there is a variety of patterns! However, I would suggest buying the next size up from your usual size as even though they are advertised as “super stretchy”, it was a bit of a struggle to clasp them around my waist but the next size up fit perfectly!
A Boots browse is a must when I’m in town and I always end up buying the whole shop, but today was an exception!
I’ve seen loads of bloggers talking about Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick and I had to see what all the fuss is about. I tried it on today and didn’t think it really suited me but I think it’s because I hardly wear any lip colour at all – I like going ‘au naturel’. I bought the shade ‘Happy Nude Year’ as I thought it would give me the ‘my lips but better’ vibe.
I stocked up on my facemask collection with Garnier’s Black Tissue Mask and it works wonders! I used one just after I took the photo above! It really helps my skin when it’s having an off day. Oh! I also bought those mini hair clips in the sale from H&M too! (I thought they looked more appealing with the beauty goodies than the trousers!)
KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!
That’s such a British saying ‘keep your eyes peeled’, haha!
ANYWAY…what you’ve all been waiting for (hopefully!)…
My local Boots is holding a charity event for Macmillan Cancer Support on 30th April and I have got tickets to this event! I’m so excited! As you can see on my invite there will be many activities going on to raise money for this really important charity.
HOPE YOU ALL HAD A LOVELY WEEKEND!
Just a little note to say I will be putting my Wednesday blogs on halt for a short time due to university and work BUT my Monday and Friday blogs continuing, as usual, don’t panic!
Thank you so much for reading – let me know what you thought about this blog in the comments or email me: email@example.com!
