Welcome back…or if you’re new, hello!
In this blog, I am going to continue with my beauty craze at the moment and chat about my skincare routine!

MAKEUP REMOVAL & FACE WASH
When I first started applying makeup, I would literally scrub my face with a wipe to take the products off. I did this up until a few months ago before I discovered micellar water! I love Garnier’s micellar water because it only takes about three uses of the bottle every evening to take my makeup off (I have the 400ml bottle and the travel size one too!) and there’s not much rubbing involved at all – just a quick swipe with a cotton pad! I do find the best use of this cleansing water is to place the wet cotton pad on your face for a few seconds and then wipe off your makeup!
I use Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel foaming face wash after I have removed my makeup to make sure all of my makeup is fully washed off. On a morning I use it too, it helps me wake up a little more and my skin is refreshed for the day ahead! As per the bottles instructions, I use two pumps (seen below), rub it into my face and wash off with warm water! It leaves my skin feeling really smooth and it smells great too!
DAY AND NIGHT MOISTURISERS & FACE MASK
The Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range at Boots is the best, hands down. I really recommend it – all of my skincare products are from this range and they honestly do work wonders for your skin! They are always on a 3 for 2 offer so I bulk buy my faves!
On a morning and evening, after I use the face wash, I apply my Shine Control Day Moisturiser and the Night Treatment Gel I can’t express how good these products smell, and how good they make your skin feel! This moisturiser is designed to protect your skin from nasty breakouts and reduces shine throughout the day – even after you’ve applied makeup.
I try to use a face mask at least twice a week – but with university and work, I never get chance! However, when I do have a ‘beauty evening’, I use the above facial mask. It’s from the same range as my other products but it has active charcoal in the formula too – after 15 minutes, your skin feels amazing and no breakouts or horrible blackheads are to be seen!
I also team the face mask with the two-step nose strips from this range. If you don’t have time to chill with a face mask, these are also a great alternative if you just want to eliminate any nasties appearing on your face.
